Simple Spring Table Decor Ideas
Pink, green, and yellow…
you gotta love them.
Three beautiful spring colors!
That bright and happy yellow.
Those vibrant greens.
And pink, oh that beautiful pink…if you are a girly girl like me, you just love it.
I was really drawn to lime green this year for spring.
Lime green hydrangeas to be exact!
So I knew that would be the color to focus on for my faux floral home decor arrangements.
But I usually have a hard time deciding on just one color, so I had to call in all the spring color troops. Yep, pink and yellow (with some neutral white touches) really helped bring it all together.
I put together a few simple arrangements using faux flowers, ribbon, a few Easter eggs, and a bunch of artificial limes I found at Target. I’ll probably keep them out all throughout the spring months and hope they can offer you some inspiration to bring a little spring cheer into your home too!
ok let’s get started!
Simple Spring Table Decor Ideas
Decorative white stones fill a long vase…
Five faux hydrangeas and a few small yellow flowers…
A few artificial limes scattered around the vase and this one is done.
I have this one sitting on our kitchen table. The lighting is not always the best there so I decided to photograph it in our living area along with everything else that you’ll see below 🙂
Eight faux chrysanthemums…
Yellow ribbon, burlap, and lime green curling ribbon.
I’m keeping the yellow ribbon and burlap in place with a small piece of scotch tape around the back then wrapping the green curling ribbon around and making a small bow as you see above. I show the steps, with pictures, in this post (FYI: I’ve used other inexpensive tapes in the past to hold ribbon in place but I find that scotch tape works the best for keeping everything in place)
This one is ready to go!
For my next one I’m using a few pieces of flowers that I pulled from my stash of faux flowers.
I cut the center portion of those pink flowers off of a few other flowers I had and then hot glued it onto my pink flowers. Before doing that I used a blow dryer to open the pedals up a bit. You can also see how they originally looked in this post.
Then I’m using an old can to hold my flowers (like I did in last years spring post)
I cleaned out the can, removed the label and covered it with white printer paper using scotch tape to hold it in place around the back and then added my three ribbons.
I debated whether or not to add this next one since it’s so simple but it’s probably the one I’m looking at the most throughout the day. I have it right by my kitchen sink (I may just spend most of my day at that sink, mommy life) and I really enjoy looking at it so I figured why not throw it in.
It doesn’t get any simpler than this. I cleaned out an old spice jar and pulled off a section of one of my lime green hydrangeas then added a green sunflower I picked up years ago at Ikea then placed one lime and a sparkly white egg (from last years Easter post)
Now I’m filling a short, wide vase with a few old white and green Easter eggs (all from dollar stores, white eggs again used in last years Easter post)
Then some burlap, gold ribbon, and lime green curling ribbon to finish up.
Next up, a silver charger plate and white dinner plate, a small basket filled with artificial limes, a single faux hydrangea and this ones ready to go (who doesn’t love decorating with limes and lemons for the warmer weather!)
I found my teeny tiny basket at the Christmas Tree Shop but another item that would work in place of the basket would be a small white bowl.
I’m keeping this one in our kitchen over our toaster oven but I think this would also work for a small kitchen table or if you have a larger basket I would fill it up with a bunch of these limes and either add a few hydrangeas into the basket with the limes or scatter them around the basket.
Moving on to the next one…
Two hydrangeas get cut down to fit another old can…
Then three bright pink faux flowers are added in.
You can make a few of these to scatter along a table or combine it with a larger one like I did here with my first arrangement.
A few old sparkly Easter eggs and a decorative white plate (also from the Christmas Tree Shop)…
