9 Simple Fall Decor Ideas

9 Simple Fall Decor Ideas
Today I’m sharing 9 simple fall decorations.
I started by picking out my colors. I love color! And I almost always end up with a mix of different colors when I’m decorating. So for these fall decorations, I decided to use three classic fall colors. Red, yellow, and orange but I also included some blue as well.
Then I brought in the two usual items I love to decorate with. Faux flowers and ribbon.
I added in a few classic items like pumpkins and pine cones and brought that all together with a few new items as well as items I already had at home to create these 9 simple decor items I’ll be sharing with you now.
ok, let’s get started…
9 Simple Fall Decor Ideas
For this first one, I used a white candle, a small glass cup from the dollar store, yellow ribbon, red checkered ribbon, and a few sprigs of small leaves that I pulled off of an old faux plant.
I started by securing my yellow ribbon with some scotch tape here…
then finished wrapping it around my glass and secured it again with more tape.
I finished by tying a bow with my checkered red ribbon over the yellow ribbon then tucking my small sprigs into the red ribbon. Then in goes my candle to the glass cup.
For my next one, I filled a cylinder vase with mini pumpkins then wrapped green ribbon around my vase, securing it with tape.
Then I finished off with some Dollar Tree orange/gold ribbon that I picked up a couple of years ago for this fall centerpiece.
It doesn’t get any more simple than this next one!
I used a recycled old jar, filled it with a couple of old mini pumpkins and some pine cones then wrapped my checkered red ribbon finishing off with a simple bow around the front.
Now I’m using three blue faux flowers that I picked up over the summer at my local dollar store…
and added them to a blue vase that I found at the Christmas Tree Shop, then finished with jute twine tied to my vase.
Here I used three red faux poppy flowers from Walmart, another old jar and then I wrapped my jar with three different ribbons…
Red velvet ribbon, yellow ribbon, and my checkered red ribbon.
To create a simple wreath, I used a small paper plate, cut the center out with a craft knife…
wrapped burlap around my paper plate and secured it with hot glue…
hot glued a few faux leaves, one sunflower pulled off its stem, and a few red berries to complete this simple wreath.
Please excuse me while I ramble a bit. I’m always amazed at how many times I’m able to reuse my faux flowers. I’ve used that sunflower you see on the wreath over and over again since picking it up a few years ago at the Dollar Tree. It started off as a couple of bunches of sunflowers but since then I’ve taken it apart many times and created a number of different pieces with them.
I’ve actually used many of the items you see today in a number of different posts throughout this blog. Those eucalyptus leaves you’ll see down below were used last year for fall decor. My single sunflower on my wreath has made a presentation for spring, fall, and who knows how many other times! My two yellow flowers accompanying that large red rose down below have also appeared a few different times.
As for those fun white chrysanthemums a few photos down, they made their debut right here. Even those sweet little red berries up top popped up to say hello here.
Anyway, I always love seeing how many times I can use these beautiful flowers and thought it would be fun to share with you as well.
This next one may just be my favorite.
I’m using another glass cup just like the one I used for my white candle, burlap, orange twine, a large faux yellow peony from the dollar store, and a bunch of eucalyptus leaves.
I cut a few stems of leaves off of that bunch of leaves, then combined them with my yellow faux flower.
And wrapped my cup with burlap and orange twine…
Now I’m using pine cones, a glass vase, glitter red ribbon, a red rose, yellow faux flowers, and faux leaves…
All of that comes together in my vase, finishing off with a simple red sparkly bow.
(Red rose from Walmart. I picked up the yellow flowers about a year ago at Michaels)
For my last one, I’m using orange and white faux flowers…
(Orange faux flowers from the Christmas Tree Shop)
Mixing those two colors together and displaying them in this old Walmart vase I’ve used over and over again around my home.
Well, that’s it for this one my friends.
