Hi, I’m Sindy, and I love flowers!

I also love beaded bracelets, organizing and trying out simple recipes. Basically, I’m a bit of a busy bee, which is kind of funny to say since this is the semi organized “ant” blog.

I enjoy making simple centerpieces and crafting when I have some free time but most of my days go to taking care of my home and family. I have a beautiful daughter and loving husband that keep me pretty busy. I am also a very happy daughter to my parents from the Dominican Republic and a little sister to my best friend.

When my daughter was 3 months old, I started this blog to write about my love for organizing and cooking. About 1 year into starting my blog I took a trip to my local dollar store and there a few faux flowers caught my eye. They were so pretty and perfect for spring so I decided to bring them home with me and ended up making a spring centerpiece, and after that…

My new found love, faux flowers, was born!

I kind of became addicted to decorating and crafting with flowers. (Nothing but faux for me and my black thumb!) Since then this blog kind of switched gears from organizing and I started focusing more on those faux flowers that I fell in love with. Now, I have to admit, I don’t have any professional skills when it comes to working with flowers so I’m constantly searching and reading up on how I can create beautiful arrangements and honestly, even simple arrangements can take some time for me to figure out! But, the end result is always worth it.
