3 Fall Decorations Using Faux Flowers

Hello friends! Today I’m sharing 3 fall decorations using faux flowers that are pretty easy to bring together and great for any small table in your home.

I’ll be using many of the supplies that I normally love to use when making simple arrangements so if you have things like twine, a collection of inexpensive faux flowers, recycled bottles and mason jars along with a few extra decorative items you can create your own beautiful fall decor too.

And bonus for anyone that doesn’t love using hot glue (like me) you don’t even need a glue gun to complete these simple DIYs!

I hope you enjoy these fall decorations and leave inspired to go make something of your own! Not because you need fall decor or anything, it’s just so much fun to craft 😉

3 Fall Decorations Using Faux Flowers

There’s something about brown bottles that just make me so happy for fall.

Here I’m using a recycled soap bottle, twine, white flower accents, yellow faux flowers and sticky dots.

I started by removing the label off of my bottle under warm soapy water. Thankfully, it peeled right off which was a small miracle because usually it takes some muscle to rub labels off of bottles for me!

Anyway, after my bottle was clean and ready to use I wrapped a super long strand of twine around my bottle and used a few small pieces of sticky dots to hold the twine in place. I find these dots to be really useful for things like this but if you’d rather use something like a hot glue gun that would be great too.

I found these adorable little white silk flowers at Walmart a couple of months ago. If you look closely they have a tiny pearl right at the center. So cute, and girly!

I used 3 of these flowers to add to my bottle, again using the same sticky dots.

As for the main star of the show here, the faux flowers…

I’m using two delicate stems of small yellow flowers which were part of a larger bunch of flowers that I picked up a few months ago at my local dollar store.

I love this simple and slightly messy look with the flowers that kind of resembles what we see out in nature where flowers rarely ever look perfect.

This second piece starts off with another recycled item…

A recycled can for my container, paint from Walmart, a few Dollar Tree flowers, Dollar Tree ribbon, twine, and a cute little pumpkin sticker. I’m also using sticky dots to hold my ribbons and sticker in place.

I started by painting my can with crafting paint from Walmart in the color territorial beige (what a pretty color!)

Then I wrapped my plaid ribbon around the can holding it in place with my sticky dots. After that I created a really simple shoe lace bow using 4 strands of twine, as you can see below. Lastly I cut out one of my pumpkin stickers and then attached everything to the ribbon using sticky dots.

FYI: the sticky dots are very large for what I’m doing here so I just cut them down very small as I went and that worked pretty good for me.

As mentioned, all of my flowers here are from the Dollar Tree. The small stem of hydrangea was from a few years ago but I purchased the other two about a month ago.

And here is the finished piece. This one is great for a kitchen counter or anywhere in the kitchen that has a little room for some decorative items.

This last arrangement is made up of colors that are not necessarily your classic fall colors but I really liked how everything paired with the beautiful stems of wheat that I have right down the center so I figured why not.

So I started with a mason jar for my arrangement. I really wanted to use something that wasn’t transparent but I didn’t have anything that would have worked so I ended up filling it with brown crafting paper.

As for my flowers, I’m using stems of wheat from the Dollar Tree, and a mix of white and light pink flowers that I’ve had for a few years now. Possibly from a dollar store or Michaels Craft Store.

Then I’m using beige mini sunflowers from the Dollar Tree and smaller yellow flowers from Michaels.

To make this arrangement I used all of the wheat stems first in the mason jar then I started placing my white and pink flowers all around the rim of the jar, keeping the wheat in the center.

After that, I added the mini sunflowers and lastly the small yellow flowers all down the middle with the wheat.

Once all of my flowers were in the mason jar I looked around the entire arrangement to make sure everything looked ok from all angles and moved around any flowers that needed to be adjusted.

That’s it for these 3 fall decorations using faux flowers. Thanks for stopping by!

Fall Decorating Ideas (faux floral centerpieces, simple decor, wall decor and more)

There are so many beautiful things to decorate with for fall. Pumpkins, leaves, mums, it’s all so pretty. It’s a shame, for me at least, that the season can feel short sometimes and as if there’s not enough time to create and fully enjoy all the crafting and decorating that goes on this time of year. Soon, we will be transitioning to all of our Christmas decorations!

So let me jump right in and share some of my fall decorations that I’ve put together for my home and give you some ideas and encouragement if you are still doing some fall decorating for your home.

FYI: I love making use of what I already have for decorating as well as shop for affordable items whenever possible so most of the things you will see can easily be found or substituted at any dollar store. Some of the other stores that I love shopping in would be Target and Walmart. I also love searching through Amazon for crafting supplies and decorating items!

Fall Decorating Ideas (faux floral centerpieces, Simple decor, wall decor and more)

I always like making use of what I have and this year is no different. My hallway has been in fall happiness mode with these branches of leaves that I found probably a couple of years ago at the Dollar Store. They are so easy to decorate with. They are stunning all on their own and really just need a simple vase to display them! Adding a few extras like a tea light in a votive and a pretty glass pumpkin finishes this area.

I bunched up a few faux pumpkins, flowers and berries on a window seal to create a garland like look along this area. The colors here may be a bit bright for some when decorating for fall but this would of course work with the warmer fall colors like burgundy, orange, and browns (that would actually be a beautiful color combination!)

I always need a few floral arrangements no matter what the season. This is one that I truly love (as I do with many floral arrangements!)

I combined sunflowers (yellow and ivory) wheat and eucalyptus leaves in a small glass vase.

Here are a few mini pumpkins that I layered one on top of the other for a really, really simple decoration that is more on the subtle side for fall decorations.

Again, another window area decorated with faux pumpkins and flowers for that garland look.

Small sunflowers and a white satin ribbon added to a large (ginormous) mug to hold some of my utensils on the kitchen countertop.

Add your own special touch to a pretty little sign with some ribbon and twine to make a layered and slightly messy bow (for some reason I think a messy bow with some twine really works for fall, do you agree?)

It’s very hard to see but I also used some iridescent glitter all over this sign (last year, I’ve had this sign for a few years!) and the light layer of glitter over everything really gave it an extra something.

Glue on burlap and a few more embellishments to an old jar to hold utensils on the kitchen counter.

You can use hot glue for something like this but I don’t like using my hot glue so I just use these dots instead. I cut them down to small pieces depending on what I need them for and its much faster, for me at least, as opposed to waiting for the hot glue to heat up.

The really simple things can sometimes be the best. I love looking at this faux pear on my kitchen countertop that I added a white bow to and called it a day.

Here’s another faux floral centerpiece that came together with a mix of different florals.

I really wanted to take this arrangement apart once I was finished and photograph each step but honestly, it’s torture to take arrangements apart once I’m done. It never looks the same once I try again. Boohoo…so I decided why not at least take a few pictures all around the arrangement to give you an idea how this came together.

A few faux berries in a wine glass.

I saw this on Pinterest and had to make one for myself! A vase with corn kernels and a candle. How simple but so pretty for fall!

And another white bow cutie!

Sending happy, safe, and healthy vibes your way. May God bless you and your family today and every beautiful day to come!

Faux Floral Fall Centerpiece- With a Touch of Lilac

Leaves are starting to fall off trees, and the weather is doing some crazy up and down stuff. It’s definitely fall!

Hi guys, today I’m sharing a faux floral fall centerpiece that I recently put together. I’ve been little by little bringing out all of my fall decorations but my home is never really complete without a floral arrangement, or two or three 🙂 scattered around here and there.

Today’s centerpiece came together with a mix of different flowers, mostly sunflowers and hydrangeas (I love sunflowers for so many different seasons!) After that I decided to add in some purple, so I decided to use a few lilac tulips that I thought worked pretty well.

Now, I’m pretty sure you may be thinking that tulips are a little strange for fall and I would have to agree with you on that. But, I try to always remind myself that faux flowers are so great because well, they last forever! So thankfully we can use them whenever and not worry about breaking a few seasonal or decorating rules. Hehe… it’s kind of fun breaking rules sometimes 🙂

But honestly aside from all of that I really like making use of what I have on hand, and these were simply the best option from what I had to use for this centerpiece, so I figured why not.

I went ahead and paired those flowers with a round vase, some burlap, and I have a very pretty arrangement that works perfectly for this time of year!

Faux Floral Fall Centerpiece- With a Touch of Lilac

For this centerpiece, I’m using a mix of different faux flowers.

I started by picking out faux sunflowers, hydrangeas, tulips, a few yellow flowers and a few leaves, as you can see below.

FYI: I always just kind of create as I go and usually end up taking things apart a few times before finishing so I didn’t actually end up using all of the flowers below. These are just what I started with 🙂

For my arrangement, I’ll be using a round vase, burlap, and tape.

I also needed something to help keep my flowers in place so I used a mesh onion bag that I had saved for crafting projects and cut off a piece from that to use for my flowers.

(Please tell me you save silly random items also because you know you can eventually make use of it in some way!)

I started by taking a strip of my burlap and filling my vase with. I did this because I thought it would look pretty but I also wanted something to cover the stems of my flowers that were looking kind of old and mix matched.

Next I took that piece of mesh and taped it on to the top of the vase in four sections.

Now for the part that should be fun but can sometimes be super frustrating for me…since I’m no expert at flower arranging 🙂

Let’s start placing the flowers…

I started by bending the stem of one of my tulips so it faces down and placing it off to the side under the yellow flowers you see below.

Then I took a few of each of my flowers and placed them in the vase, making three even sections.

The hydrangeas went down the middle.

To the right of those are the off white sunflowers.

To the left of my hydrangeas are a few light yellow flowers.

After that I started adding in the rest of my flowers in no particular order. I just tried to evenly scatter them throughout my arrangement.

I did however purposely place one of the tulips off to the opposite side on the top part of my arrangement, to give it a bit of a balanced look.

This is how it now looks after adding in all the flowers…

A look of the top…

I will say that the most important part of this arrangement was using the mesh piece to keep the flowers in place. I always have a habit of putting flowers into a vase and not taking the time to use something to keep them from moving around, which works out fine for my home but this just makes thing so much easier! The flowers stay in place and I didn’t need as many flowers to make a nice full arrangement.

And that’s it! A beautiful fall centerpiece, with a touch of pretty lilac purple.

Ok, that’s it for this one. I hope you enjoyed this and put together a beautiful fall centerpiece for your home as well!

Sending happy, safe, and healthy vibes your way. May God bless you and your family today and every beautiful day to come!

Simple Fall Decor Lookbook

There are so many options when it comes to decorating for fall. It can be hard, for me at least, to decide what I want to decorate with.

The leaves, pumpkins, acorns, florals, it’s all so pretty!

There’s decorative pumpkins of all sorts of colors, patterns and sizes these days…

Sunflowers, mums, beautiful wheat…

And we can’t forget about the traditional fall colors. There’s orange, burgundy, browns, yellows, and even a color I didn’t realize up until recently that was considered a fall color, purple. I think with the exception of purple, all of the fall colors are so warm and cozy, just like fall.

Can you think of any other traditional colors for the fall?

Today I’m sharing all of the fall decorations that are scattered around my home. It’s a combination of a few simple DIY’s, centerpieces, simple floral arrangements, and decorative store bought items, because there’s so many amazing things to pick up this time of year 🙂

As always, most of the items I’m using came from dollar stores and department stores like Target, Walmart, and Amazon as well as items I already had on hand. I’ll link to what ever I can for you as well as give a few simple descriptions but for the most part this lookbook is just a collection of simple fall decorations that I want to share with you and hopefully offer you some inspiration if you are like me and decorate later in the seasons.

Simple Fall Decor Lookbook

A mix of yellow and orange faux flowers with berries for a bright fall centerpiece.

(Yellow flowers from Dollar Tree, orange flowers from The Christmas Tree Store and berries from Amazon)

More of those beautiful yellow flowers that I found at the Dollar Tree with an old coffee container and ribbon to decorate my kitchen counter top.

Amber bottles filled with wheat, berries and hydrangeas for the smaller bottle.

To decorate the bottles I hot glued sisal twine, lacey burlap, ribbon and rhinestones.

(Wheat, lacey burlap and pink and white ribbon all from the Dollar Tree, Berries from Amazon, the sisal twine came from my dollar store but it’s also available here.

By my kitchen window, a simple pink and white bow added to this fun fall sign, wide burlap ribbon for my curtains and a few real mini pumpkins.

(Fall sign from local dollar store, pink and white ribbon from the Dollar Tree)

Real pumpkins from our good Lord up above. Wait…everything comes from him! lol 🙂

For my kitchen table I used a large white bowl to hold a mix of decorative pumpkins, faux leaves and then placed a white vase in the center of my bowl with a few long stems of golden fall leaves that I found at my local dollar store last year…and fell in love with!!! But don’t tell my husband that 🙂

(White Vase from the Dollar Tree, and white bowl possibly from Crate and Barrel but I purchased it years ago)

The large orange plate under the white bowl has been in my home for years! I found it at Pier 1 and hardly ever used it. I’ve always been tempted to donate it but I’m glad that I didn’t because now I’m making use of it and love it!

Here I hot glued two small suede pumpkins along with a few faux leaves. Then I hot glued mini sunflowers, hydrangea petals and finished with a simple twine bow on top.

(mini sunflowers from the Dollar Tree)

FYI: I had to play around with positioning the leaves underneath so that my pumpkins would sit flat on the counter. Just something to keep in mind if you try something like this at home.

My kitchen hutch always gets a few seasonal decorations and this fall was no exception…

On top of the hutch I placed a couple of olive leaf branches, one large sunflower stem and a garland of small sunflowers.

(Olive branches from Walmart, garland and sunflower from my local dollar store)

A small Dollar Tree ornament.

For an area in my living room I used tiny wired sunflowers and wrapped them to the stem of mini pumpkins. Votives and super mini adorable brown pumpkins join in.

(Mini sunflowers, brown pumpkins from the Dollar Tree, votives from Ikea)

A very subtle fall decoration with more of those super mini pumpkins…

Behind my couch I left some greenery I had out for summer and combined that with pumpkins and a beautiful local dollar store sign.

I’ve had these glass pumpkins for years! I found them at Target way back when and have loved them ever since. They come out every year without fail.

I shared a DIY wreath frame about a month ago for my front door and ended up making another wreath for my bedroom door using the same type of frame. You can see all the steps here as well as a picture below from when I was making this one.

(Burlap and ribbon from Amazon, large burlap leaves from the Dollar Tree)

A few simple decorations for my bathroom…

Last but never least, a turkey stuffy in my kitchen….I couldn’t resist 🙂

Sending happy, safe, and healthy vibes your way. May God bless you and your family today and every beautiful day to come!

DIY Fall Wreath – Florals and Pumpkins

Hello Friends! Hope you are all having a beautiful Fall so far. Here in New York, I feel like it’s taken a while for that fall-ish feeling…..

The weathers been warmer than I’m used to for this time and the green leaves seemed to have been holding on to those tree branches like no tomorrow!

but finally…

Leaves are starting to fall everywhere!

I was lucky enough to see a bunch of yellow leaves falling off of trees the other day (in an incredibly elegant and harmonious way I might add ☺️) And the weather is starting to have that fall chill that calls for soup and hot chocolate!

It’s nice seeing so many pretty leaves on the floor. The colors are gorgeous. Right now I’m mostly seeing yellow but I’ve also noticed a few dark red and even got a glimpse of a tree filled with orange leaves!

How is fall looking at your neck of the woods?

So today I’m sharing a fall wreath that I made using a DIY poster board frame that I shared a few weeks ago. After making my frame for the wreath and doing a little trial and error design with my crafting supplies it started coming together. It took some effort figuring out what I wanted to use but eventually I decided on pumpkins and florals. Then a bunch of hot glue, and I had my fall wreath!

Hope you like this floral and pumpkins fall wreath!

DIY Fall Wreath – Florals and Pumpkins

I started by making a frame for my wreath using a few inexpensive supplies. You can see exactly how I made it in this post that I shared a few weeks ago but it’s fairly simple…

Get a poster board and cut out a circle, then glue on some popsicle sticks to give it some support and finish off by wrapping it up with tape.

These are the supplies that I used:

And here is the finished wreath frame:

Once I finished my frame I got a few faux leaves that I had pulled off of some flowers, and taped them onto my frame.

I taped them down to keep them in place while I decided what else I was going to add to my wreath. I figured it was best not to hot glue them down before knowing exactly how I wanted my wreath to look.

I then decided on using pale lime green hydrangeas and orange marigolds for my flowers.

I know, lime green isn’t exactly a fall color but I thought it looked pretty with the rest of my colors. Plus, I have a ton of these hydrangeas and wanted to make use of them 🙂

The hydrangeas were very large for this wreath so I ended up cutting the flowers into smaller sections and that worked out pretty good.

Once I had my florals I hot glued them on along with the leaves and a few pumpkins.

I should also mention that I started by hot gluing the leaves and pumpkins first, then I added my flowers, tucking them under and around the pumpkins.

Lastly, I added sunflowers and a few small amber hydrangeas to finish my wreath.

(FYI: I ended up cutting down some of my leaves around the right side just because I felt as if they were sticking out too much and making the wreath look unbalanced. I probably didn’t need to do that but the perfectionist in me couldn’t resist)

Sending happy, safe, and healthy vibes your way. May God bless you and your family today and every beautiful day to come!

Living Room Fall Home Decor

It’s that beautiful time of year.

Leaves are falling, there’s pumpkin and apple cider flavored temptations everywhere…

and the days are chilly one day but warm and sunny the next. (I never know how to dress this time of year)

It’s also a time that I can find to be kind of stressful sometimes.

There’s so much that I want to do right before and during the holiday season, but rarely find enough time to do it all.

Can you relate?

But, despite the stress and busyness…I love fall!

Hope you enjoy my simple fall living room decorations!

Living Room Fall Home Decor

This next one is very subtle fall decor with a few dried leaves that I added glitter glue to and then wrapped a white candle with three strips of brown-toned rhinestones that you can find at dollar stores.

(Candle used for decorative purposes only)

I shared a picture of this area in this blog post back at the start of fall when I was first starting to transition to my fall decorations. It’s an area right on our TV console, as you can probably tell with that big black rectangle in the back. I really like decorating this area every season but try to keep it simple so my husband doesn’t complain that he can’t see the TV! 🙂

Small glass pumpkins and faux leaves by the window.

I have owned those gold and bronze pumpkins probably for about 10 years now and I love them, they come out every year for fall. This clear pumpkin down below is a new find that I just picked up this year. I love it just as much as the other two.

Do you keep decorations around for years and never get tired of them too?

How I love faux flowers….and checkered anything.

Checkered ribbon

Some glue and gold glitter dusted onto a few old pine cones…

Mingling with gold acorns in a small round vase, AKA fish bowl…minus the fish 😉

Four beautiful branches of faux leaves from the Dollar store…

Dollar Tree tray and ribbon with a few gold toned beads at the bottom of my vase…

and faux berries wrapped onto my branches…

For a very simple but oh so pretty fall centerpiece.

Sending happy, safe, and healthy vibes your way. May God bless you and your family today and every beautiful day to come!

Disclaimer: candles used are for decorative purposes only. Don’t light candles around flammable items or leave candles that are lit unattended.

Simple DIY Fall Wreath

Do you ever look at something that is normally considered junk and wonder, what can I do with that?

I do that all the time! Empty bottles, cans, shoe boxes. I always try to repurpose those items.

So when I managed to turn a shower cap ring (the plastic rings that sometimes come in a new shower cap) into a wreath I was oh so happy!

Simple DIY Fall Wreath

For my wreath I’m using the plastic ring that sometimes comes in a new shower cap. Usually shower caps that you find at dollar stores have them.

FYI: These rings are very light so they won’t work for a wreath with any heavy items added to it.

I’ll give you a moment to laugh at how funny (and cute) us girls can look in a shower cap 😉

I started my wreath by wrapping twine around the ring and adding some hot glue along a few areas.

Then I added some faux leaves with hot glue and some twine to make sure they stay in place.

Next I hot glued some orange faux berries. If you notice, I added a large amount of hot glue, giving the area some height. This is because I will be adding a simple bow in the next step and this helps keep it from looking too sunken in.

(Black and white checkered ribbon)

After adding my bow I decided my wreath needed a little more color so I hot glued a few yellow/lime berries.

and that’s it!

Ok friends, that’s it for this one…

Sending happy, safe, and healthy vibes your way. May God bless you and your family today and every beautiful day to come!

Transitioning to Fall Decor

I’ve slowly been transitioning from summer to fall decor for about a month now. By slowly, I mean I’ve been moving veeery slow!

I always have a hard time switching from one season to another. I’ve probably already mentioned this but, I never want to let go of the season we are in and all the beauty it has to offer!

Summer brings on so many beautiful bright colors, gorgeous sunny days, fun beach trips, turquoise jewelry (so perfect for summer) oh, and of course ice cream!

But then there’s fall. Oh fall!! It comes with a rainbow of colorful leaves.

Mustard yellow, warm wine, pumpkin orange, and comforting caramel colors…

It’s magical!

How could I not want to hold on to that for as long as I could 🙂

So it’s either I hold on to my ice cream cravings a little while longer or move on to collecting colorful leaves at the park.

A true dilemma.

Do you feel the same way? Is there any time of the year you have a hard time letting go off?

So for the most part my home always has a mix of seasonal decorations whenever I’m switching them out and this time around I thought it would be nice to take pictures of the areas that are slowly transitioning into fall and share them here with you.

The changes are mostly simple and subtle as of now. Bringing out old fall decorations, exploring with a few new finds here and there but hopefully things will fully come together soon!

I cant wait to share the finished look once I’m done.

Transitioning to Fall Decor

A white and brown acorn meets a floral vase that I had out for summer.

I placed a few ivory flowers here on our TV counsel. Now, I know these flowers are not traditional fall decorations but there’s something about the ivory mixed with the red and yellow that makes me feel like they work for fall.

I’m not sure what I will end up doing with this spot but for now this works perfectly!

A basket full of pumpkins sits on my floor waiting for a more permanent spot.

Who ever said stickers were just for kids! Here I used three apple stickers to decorate in my kitchen. Then I finished the frame with a few layers of handmade bows that I glued on.

(Checkered black/white ribbon)

My table is a magnet for unfinished projects.

Here sits a simple wreath that I’ve been working on for far too long and colorful berries that I admire everyday and wonder what I might do with them.

The simple things are truly the best!

A salt shaker with a few sprigs of foliage that me and my daughter picked up before the summer started.

Ok friends, that’s it for this one…I hope you enjoyed it and were inspired to put some fall decorations up in your home too!

Sending happy, safe, and healthy vibes your way. May God bless you and your family today and every beautiful day to come!

A Few Random Home Decor Items

A Few Random Home Decor Items

I recently came across a few random photos that I never got around to sharing and thought it would be kind of fun to combine them all and share them in one blog post.

I’m always making things for my home. Whether it’s decorations for my home, birthday decorations, simple homemade gifts or just trying to DIY some type of home organization…

I’m always up to something.

But I don’t always get around to sharing everything because I either think it’s maybe too simple to share, or I get distracted and start working on another project that ends up bumping that old project to the back burner…

I do try to make it a point to photograph many of these DIY’s though in case I change my mind and decide to post them or have some spare time to play with. (Hardly ever)

Thank the good Lord for cameras!

Most of what I’m sharing today is somewhat on the easy side and mostly anyone can bring them together with a few simple supplies or things already on hand.

You can also customize these ideas to suit the season you are in by changing up the colors or items you are using or even make them for everyday decorations.

A Few Random Home Decor Items

I love the Christmas Tree Shop. They always have such beautiful finds. It never fails that me and my five-year-old daughter come out of there with at least a couple of bags of stuff that we probably could have done without, but couldn’t pass up!

I picked up the gold candle wreath below right before the holidays and ended up making a simple door wreath by wrapping a white faux poinsettia off to the side.

Then I added a strand of twine for hanging.

I usually don’t use too much red to decorate for fall. But last year I did, and really loved it.

I never got around to sharing this small faux floral centerpiece but luckily I did get to photograph it before taking it apart once the season was over.

I made this floral centerpiece using three faux flowers, some red and white ribbon, and a recycled jar.

A very simple, but of so pretty, heart painting.

I started by painting different shaped hearts on cardstock then cut out the best hearts and ended up framing these three with white tissue paper for the background.

(Frame: Walmart)

I originally came across this frame when I visited this blog, while I was on the hunt for some fall wall decor ideas. She really created a beautiful display on her wall with a larger version of these frames. You may want to check it out when you can.

Here I taped paper hearts together, another Christmas Tree Shop find, to make two Valentine’s Day wall decorations and then finished by adding twine for hanging.

A pink heart on a stick (from Walmart), a mason jar, and some pink beaded jewelry that I’ve had forever play the part of vase fillers.

All I did here was cut out a few small red hearts on cardstock for more Valentine’s Day decor this past holiday. The rest of the items I picked up on previous trips to a variety of different stores.

(Poinsettias, Dollar Store…Red Hearts in vase, Walmart…Adorable Bird, Target)

Lastly, a birthday garland for my daughter’s birthday. We usually don’t have actual birthday parties for my daughter, but no matter how we decide to celebrate I always like to decorate our home for both her as well as me and my husband’s birthday.

I taped hearts that I cut out last year for Valentine’s Day onto twine then added flower and bird stickers (the kid in me) as well as adhesive pearls to the hearts.

There are actually two separate garlands in the photo below, it may not be very clear to see but you can see the longer one down below.

That’s it for now. Hope you enjoyed everything!

Sending happy, safe, and healthy vibes your way. May God bless you and your family today and every beautiful day to come.

Kitchen Fall Decor (and a Few Extras)

Kitchen Fall Decor (and a Few Extras)

Hello my friends, this is a continuation of my last blog post “Living Room Fall Decor.”

Normally, I would try to combine everything I make for seasonal decorations into one blog post.
But this time around, it was as if something hit me over the head and turned the light bulb on….

Separate everything into different rooms/categories.

face/palm moment

So I decided to separate the living room and kitchen decorations into separate blog posts, but…

old habits are hard to break.

So I ended up adding in a few extra simple decorations that I have scattered in other areas of our home.

I hope you enjoy these fall decorations!

Kitchen Fall Decor (and a few extras)

I made a simple drawing of yellow leaves on cardstock and placed it on a clear command hook on our countertop.

(I started with a pencil, filled the leaves in with a yellow color pencil, and with a hole punch I added some twine for hanging)

Small Cardboard squares wrapped in pretty napkins (above and below)….finished with pumpkin stickers

Yep, that’s my reflection on the side of the fridge, in case you were wondering 😉

Something pretty to look at by the stove while I cook.

A single pinecone in a champagne glass (I promise I’m not fancy at all, I had to ask my husband what type of glass I was using)

And a couple of pinecones hanging out with a few small twigs of hydrangeas and white peonies in a pretty shot glass.

Both photos with the pinecones are decorating our kitchen hutch. You can see a better picture of the hutch here

A blue candle…

wrapped with some twine and faux floral petals.

(Disclaimer: This candle is used for decorative purposes only. Never light a candle with flammable items or leave it unattended)

Pumpkins and glittery tinsel decorating my daughter’s room.

Here I took an old Dollar Store pumpkin and added iridescent glitter glue to the creases.

A gold sequenced pumpkin with a few pearls, silver and gold beads, and a white faux flower all hot glued together.

A very simple fall bathroom decoration. Two black and white buffalo pumpkins.

I have to admit guys…

This photo is an impostor.

I wish I could tell you that it always looks this neat but that wall cabinet seems to always attract all sorts of stuff. Hair brushes, lotion bottles, makeup and all sorts of cute toddler hair accessories.

Please tell me your bathroom works the same as mine.

ok, that’s it…hope you enjoyed this!

Thanks for stopping by.

Sending happy, safe, and healthy vibes your way…May God bless you and your family today and every beautiful day to come!
