Simple Table Decoration Ideas With Dried Flowers
I always seem to end up with a few dried flower decorations around my home this time of year since my birthday is in January and then there’s Valentine’s Day a month after (yay for flowers on those special days)
My husband always tries to pick up some flowers for me on those special days and of course I put them in a vase with some water as soon as he brings them. I try to keep them around and enjoy them for as long as possible but once they start drying I find that some of the flowers and greenery still look very pretty so I start wondering what else can I do with them.
Dried flower decorations may not be for everyone and I have to admit they don’t always work for me either because let’s be honest, they can sometimes look a bit tacky (eek, so sorry to any tacky arrangements out there) But I think if we keep it simple and even add in a few extras like candles, ribbons or even marbles like I did below, we can end up with beautiful long lasting decorations, for those of us that are not completely against dry flower arrangements that is 🙂
Let’s get to it…
Simple Table Decoration Ideas With Dried Flowers
I love how this yellow rose kept its beautiful color once it dried. It was part of a bouquet of roses for Valentine’s Day that were all different colors and this was the brightest in the bunch.
I took my yellow rose once it dried and carefully pulled off a few of its petals, trying my best not to tear them. Then I combined those with a few marbles in a small votive. I topped that with what was left of my rose for a tiny, colorful and oh so cute decoration for any side table, window or anywhere else you’d like to decorate in your home.

I love!

Here I took almost all of the petals off of this dark pink rose and used them to surround a short, white candle on a small white plate.
I thought the rose looked so pretty when I pulled off most of its petals and seeing the center part of it so I decided to place it right in front of my candle making it a focal point for this simple and classic decoration.

I had a bouquet of light pink roses for my birthday that dried to this almost rusty beige shade and surprisingly didn’t start drooping down while they dried out. I ended up removing all of the leaves from their stem and placed them in this cylinder vase.

I think baby’s breath stems can look so pretty all on their own.
These baby breaths were not quite dry just yet so I put them separate in a vase with some water while they dried out some more.
This is one of those really super simple ideas that I think work so lovely for those of us that enjoy simple decorations.

And lastly one more simple baby’s breath centerpiece, this one hanging out in a much smaller vase.

Sending happy, safe, and healthy vibes your way. May God bless you and your family today and every beautiful day to come!
