Yellow and Peach Faux Flower Spring Arrangement
Yellow and Peach Faux Flower Spring Arrangement
Yellow and peach…
I love yellow for almost any season, but peach is kind of a new one for me when it comes to spring decorating. I usually love pinks, yellows, and greens for spring, but this year peach and yellow flowers turned out to be a beautiful combination that worked great for this arrangement.
It’s a bright color combination, perfect for spring, but the soft peach also gives everything almost a delicate touch and even tones down a bit of the intense color that yellow can sometimes give off.
What colors do you like for spring? Do you gravitate towards traditional pastels, bright colors, or do you just love them all?
Well, no matter what colors you love for spring, I hope you enjoy this yellow and peach faux flower spring arrangement.
Let’s go…
Yellow and Peach Faux Flower Spring Arrangement
The flowers that I will be using for my arrangement are faux yellow billy buttons, peach roses and yellow tulips.
I’ve had these flowers for years, but as for where I purchased them the billy buttons were at Walmart, roses from my local dollar store and the tulips came from the Dollar Tree.

For my “vase” I’m using an old hand sanitizer container.
(I have a bunch of real vases that I can use for this but I’m kind of obsessed with making use of recycled containers. It’s a daily struggle trying to keep myself from washing out everything that ends up in our recycling bin)
I also used sisal twine that I picked up at the dollar store.
If you are not familiar with this type of ribbon it looks a lot like twine but its much stronger and stiffer so it takes more effort to create a bow with this type of ribbon but I really like the rustic look that it gives crafting projects.

Lastly, scissors and pliers.

My tulips were looking a bit feathered around the edges so before starting my arrangement I cleaned them up with my scissor. If you are using new flowers you probably don’t have to do this but I’ve had these tulips for a few years now so they were really in need of a little trimming.

This arrangement came together very quickly and easily.
I started by tying two strands of the sisal ribbon to my container to give it a double bow look. FYI: this ribbon can sometimes be a little messy to work with so you may want to place some paper underneath your work while you are cutting and knotting the ribbon, otherwise you’ll have pieces of sisal thread everywhere.
As for the flowers, use your pliers to cut the stems down to fit your vase or container if needed.
Once my faux flowers were ready I placed my billy button stem in first …

then all of my three tulips went down into the left of that.

Then two roses to the right…

as well as one more rose towards the back.

Once all the flowers were in I started moving things around a bit and flaring out a few of my tulip petals to get everything looking the way I wanted and that’s it my friends.
This simple spring arrangement is done and ready to go……to my table of course 🙂

Sending happy, safe, and healthy vibes your way. May God bless you and your family today and every beautiful day to come!
