Faux Sunflower and Turquoise Summer Arrangement

I find sunflowers to be so perfect for decorating almost any time of the year. They are especially beautiful for the fall, but for this centerpiece, I will be using sunflowers along with white flowers to put together a summer arrangement that is simply an eye-catcher with its bright yellow color.

What flowers do you like to decorate with for the summer?

Do you like beach-themed decor, nautical decor, tropical?

There’s so many beautiful options for the summer! There are sunflowers, wildflowers, vibrant colors, lemons, watermelons. The options can go on and on.

Well, no matter what you like for summer decor, I hope this sunflower arrangement is a favorite for you!

Faux Sunflower and Turquoise Summer Arrangement

I’m starting with a few sunflowers, some green leaves and a few white faux flowers.

For my container, I will be using a turquoise glass from the Dollar Tree along with a bunch of marbles.

The marbles will help keep my flowers in place as well as act as a pretty vase filler.

Once filling my cup with the marble, I add a large sunflower, slightly off to the side.

Those leaves you see above will be going in next.

One large leaf off to the right and a couple of stems with smaller leaves off to the left. (FYI, these stems are just random stems that I took from other flowers in my faux flower stash)

Then I’m grabbing a couple of white flowers from IKEA (possibly named alliums but don’t quote me on that) and placing them to the “back” of my arrangement.

Now I have a few more flowers to work with…

A small sunflower goes around the back along with my white flowers…

A medium sized sunflower off to one side…

And those smaller white flowers go off to the other side.

I wanted these flowers to kind of cascade down the side so before placing them in, I made sure to bend the stem enough to get that effect.

Here is where I stopped and took some time to look at my arrangement, see if it needed more flowers and decide where I would be placing my arrangement.

Where I would be placing my arrangement was important because at this point it was pretty much done as long as I would be putting it somewhere that the back was not very noticeable. But if I was putting it somewhere that I could see the entire arrangement, I would want to add more flowers around the back.

That’s exactly what I ended up doing.

I added a couple more small sunflowers and another bunch of small white flowers all around the back and I slightly moved everything around a bit wherever I felt it needed some extra love 🙂

And that’s it for this arrangement!

Sending happy, safe, and healthy vibes your way. May God bless you and your family today and every beautiful day to come!

Faux Yellow Hydrangea Summer Centerpiece

One very large yellow hydrangea…

A few small white florals…

A cute, and slightly chubby, teal vase…

And I have an easy, simple, and very pretty summer centerpiece…that for some funny reason, kind of reminds me of a pineapple 🙂

Faux Yellow Hydrangea Summer Centerpiece

For my centerpiece, I am using one large yellow hydrangea, three small white peonies, one extra white faux flower, and a small teal vase.

(vase from Ikea, hydrangea from Michaels, white flowers from random Dollar stores)

(yellow hydrangea also used for this centerpiece and this one)

I started by bending the stem of my hydrangea to match the height of my vase…

I placed my flower down into the vase so she sits perfectly snug in my vase…

I then scattered my white flowers throughout the hydrangea.

By scattered I mean I poked and pushed my flowers through the pretty little flowers forming my hydrangea and then moved them around a million times before getting them into the perfect spot 🙂

and she’s done.

I’m not sure why I’m referring to my centerpiece as a she but for some reason it sounds right, so I’m sticking with that.

I paired my centerpiece with a pretty floral lace placemat that I found at my local dollar store. It has a bit of an “old school” look to it if you know what I mean, but I really loved it and it was a nice match to my centerpiece.

Sending happy, safe, and healthy vibes your way. May God bless you and your family today and every beautiful day to come!

Simple Aqua Green and Peach Faux Floral Summer Centerpiece

Simple Aqua Green and Peach Faux Floral Summer Centerpiece

Today I’m sharing a simple summer centerpiece using aqua green, peach and white items that I picked up from a few dollar stores.

I combined a few faux roses, a few faux peonies that I found at the Dollar Tree and some matching ribbon to complete this easy trio.

Let’s get started!

Simple Aqua Green and Peach Faux Floral Summer Centerpiece

I’ll be using travel pump bottles as my mini “vase” for the flowers

Dollar Tree burlap

Silver metallic wire ribbon from the Container Store

Clear marbles that I’ve had for years!

Peach and white roses from my local dollar store and aqua green peonies from the Dollar Tree

And a few small white flowers

Ok here we go…

I dropped my clear marbles into the container…

Then I wrapped that pretty burlap and silver ribbon onto my container.

I secured the burlap with some scotch tape (as I do with most of my centerpieces that have ribbon) you can also use a glue gun here but I find using tape to be much faster than waiting for the glue gun to heat up.

(You can better see here how I use tape to keep my ribbon in place)

Then I dropped in one peach rose, one white rose, one aqua green peony and placed the smaller white flowers in the center of the roses and peony…

and that’s it!

Add in two more of these sweet little arrangements…

And I’m done!

Well, that’s it for this one my friends.

Thanks for stopping by!
