Simple Valentine’s Day Crafts and Home Decor Lookbook
Floral bouquets, chocolates, hearts…and if you have a kid like I do, silly little Valentine’s Day favors for all those school friends, are a few of the things that make Valentine’s day so wonderful. It’s a holiday that I truly love. Even though it’s not actually a true holiday 😉
Hello friends! Valentine’s Day is almost here so let’s take a look at a few simple decorations that you can easily put together for your home or anywhere else that could use some last minute Valentine’s day cheer.
As always, I’m using items that I already had on hand and things that you can easily find in dollar stores, crafting stores or even sections in department stores with crafting and party supplies.

I don’t think I could ever do any decorating around my house without a few faux flowers scattered around here and there. I know faux flowers may not work for everyone but for a black thumb girl like me, faux flowers are an almost perfect alternative to real flowers.
For a very subtle Valentines Day floral decoration I used these pink faux flowers and a light pink satin ribbon to tie three bows onto my vase and although this is so simple and quick to put together I find it so so pretty!

Valentine’s Day always calls for atleast a few roses and these red faux roses have been a favorite of mine for a few years now. I love bringing them out every year and creating a centerpiece with them.

This came together so quickly with three mason jars, a couple of red roses in each jar, a white flower and smaller yellow filler flowers to finish off.

Can that red on those roses be anymore beautiful?

A couple of areas in our bedroom…
This pink floral arrangement came together with four large faux pink peonies that I’ve had for a few years now. Then I simply taped on some glittery heart confetti’s all through out the round vase.
I usually keep things very simple for holiday decorations just because I know they won’t be out for a long time but of course if you want a more permanent or stronger hold you can add embellishments with hot glue.

So I can’t take credit for this three heart decoration on my kitchen wall. It’s something I picked up years ago at a random shop while on vacation with my husband. I always use it for Valentine’s Day and never really have to do much to it other than maybe add an extra bow like I did here on the command hook that it’s hanging off of. It’s made of faux berries, red beads and organza red ribbon holding it all together.
Are you like me and decorate with items you’ve had forever?
The simplest craft ever…cardstock, ribbon, and heart stickers for a simple handmade sign on the kitchen countertop.
My kitchen hutch always gets a sprinkle of holiday decor.
A pink mug, pink bowl and a few extra fun Valentine’s Day knick knacks come together for this area and give it just a bit of Valentine’s decor for my kitchen.
This one may just be my favorite.
A strand of tiny adhesive rhinestones and a red rhinestone heart on a chubby white candle.
Here I’m taking a fuzzy heart pick, a small votive that I added a small red heart sticker to and filled it with a very long strand of crafting pearls.
I hope you enjoyed this Valentine’s Day lookbook of my home. Check out my foam rose wreath as well as this post for more crafts and decorations great for Valentine’s Day.
Sending happy, safe, and healthy vibes your way. May God bless you and your family today and every beautiful day to come!
